Jackson’s mom here… we started this story several weeks ago but we both got tired of messing with it so we quit and finally came back to it.

Spelling words:

– riddle

– vanish

– solid

– credit

– object

-given

– exam

– comic

– humble

– metal

– prison

Once upon a time there was a bear, a blue bear to be exact.  And his name was Blue Bear.  One day he wanted to go on a picnic with his family.  When they got close to where they wanted to be they saw a strange OBJECT.  It was a COMIC.  It was a comic about a lemon that came alive.  After the picnic was done, the blue bear took the comic home and put it on his shelf.  It was a valuable treasure that he thought he had been GIVEN.  The next morning the blue bear wanted to go for a swim.  So they did.  And there at the pool they met a magician.

“Mom! Mom! A magician!” Blue Bear said.  “Mr. Magician, can you do us a trick please?”

The magician said “Yes but you’ll have to pay me.”

“I can use my CREDIT card,” said Blue Bear.”

The magician said “Abbra Kadabra…Voila!!”  And then he walked on the pool.

“Wow! How did he do that?!” said Blue Bear.

“I can’t give you the answer but I can give you a RIDDLE,” said the magician. “When a magician crosses a pool, we may not know how he does it.  But we do know that water is not SOLID.” And then he VANISHed.

The next morning Blue Bear was playing video games.  And then he finished one level and then he got to the next one.  And it said “You will be given an EXAM on this level.  You will have to free the baby Panda from a METAL PRISON and then escape the jungle without being spotted by the Indians.  In 12 minutes he finished the level.  And then Blue Bear said “Oh yeah…oh yeah!! I’m the greatest!  Uh-huh!! Uh-huh!! Oh yeah!!”

Then his mom came in and said “Blue Bear, do you think you’re HUMBLE?”

“What exactly does that mean?” said Blue Bear.

“It means not thinking that you’re the best.”

“Oh well yeah, I’m humble.” Blue Bear said.

“Oh really?” said Blue Bear’s mom. “For your reward I will show you how the magician did the trick. There was some glass on the pool and the magician walked on the glass.  And it was very clear glass so you could not see the glass.  That’s how the magician did the trick.”

And they lived happily ever after.  The end.
